"Milk" stars Sean Penn as the slain San Francisco politician, Josh Brolin as Dan White, his killer, and James Franco, Emile Hirsch and Diego Luna as other figures in his private and public lives. It was shot in San Francisco and has a great feel for the era of gay liberation in the 1970s.
