LPG Malaysia is organizing a Youth Leadership Camp which will provide you with life learning skills and inspirations to be the best you can be. This camp also will be filled with highly interactive workshops, team building activities and self evaluation sessions.

Venue: Dusun Eco Resort, Pahang
Age Group: 18 – 25yo
Activities: Indoor Games, Jungle Trekking, Flying Fox, Night Walk & Camp Fire

The LPG S.A.F.E. Youth Leadership Camp also carries the mission of promoting awareness of HIV and AIDS matters targeted at youths in Malaysia age 18 to 25 years old because of the recent rise of HIV infections in the region, especially amongst the gay community.
This year’s LPG Youth Leadership camp theme is “
Safe, Acceptance, Fun, Empowerment (S.A.F.E.).” The mission of the LPG S.A.F.E. Youth Leadership is to equip youths with the knowledge of HIV & AIDS, in term of methods of prevention; risk that may lead to HIV/AIDS and the importance of safe sex. The goals of the camp will be presented through the key elements as shown below:
Safe
The camp serves as a safe platform for participants to voice out their fears and concerns about how AIDS/HIV affects them personally and as a young community.
Acceptance
The camp will have sessions where participants will come to terms with who they are and what’s happening around them. By accepting who they are and what’s happening around them, they will begin to be think and reactive positively to their surrounding and will make the right choices.
Fun
This camp is about interaction and we have catered a few fun outdoor and indoor activities such as jungle trekking, night walk, flying fox and treasure hunt that will foster the teamwork spirit amongst participants.
Empowerment
Participants will be empowered when they are showed how to make positive choices especially when it come to youth issues like peer pressure and having sex.
Last but not least, participants of this camp will start building long lasting friendship and support one another in time to come.
