Kopitalk - Open Relationship

09 July 2009

An open relationship is a relationship in which the participants are free to have emotional, spiritual and/or physical relationships with other partners. Some people refer to them as “no strings attached” relationships, “fuck buddies” or “friends with benefits”, but whatever name they go by, for most gay men they are hard to pass up.

Of course, it has a lot to do with fear of abandonment and commitment, but when you are young it is time to play a bit, to sow those seeds and, more importantly, to get a good cross-section of experience with a variety of different partners without getting too serious.

The problem, of course, is that “open relationships” are hard to pull off without one person “catching feelings” for the other, feelings that won’t necessarily be returned in kind. And of course, in these days of HIV and STDs, you need to know how to protect yourself. At the end of the session we will be able to better understand what “Open Relationships” really are and if it is meant for you!

This session is designed as a safe space for gay or bisexual men for those between the ages of 18 and 30 years old and will be held on 18 july at 3pm.

I don't believe in open relationship but monogamous.

Even though bareback is risky, but to do monogamous make the risk low.
